Admission Procedure

Students shall be admitted to the various courses of study in the college on the basis of the rules prescribed by the University from time to time. In each course of study, the seats are reserved for different categories as follows.

  1. 40% as General Merit
  2. 20% as Community Quota
  3. 20% as SC /ST Quota
  4. 20% as Management Quota

University of Calicut introduces Centralised Ranking Process (CRP) for admission to UG and PG programmes in its affiliated colleges. This Centralised Ranking Process offers facility for online submission of application to multiple colleges and courses affiliated to the University of Calicut. Centralised Ranking Process helps the students to submit applications to colleges of their choice and course options through some simple online steps. So all the students who seek admission in our college for UG and PG programmes shall submit their application through Centralised Ranking Process of University of Calicut and follow the procedures and processes as required. Those who wish admission in the Community and Management Category need to submit separate applications at the college also and the application forms for the Community and Management Categories will be available in the college.

When the list is published and the interview schedule is available, it is the responsibility of the candidates to verify whether they are selected and ascertain the date and time of interview. Admission will be decided upon only after the interview. The parent or guardian should accompany the student at the time of interview for admission.

Candidates for admission should produce the following documents at the time of interview.

  1. +2 (Pre-Degree) or Degree mark list as the case may be.
  2. Transfer Certificate from the school or college last attended.
  3. Certificate of conduct from the Head of the institution last attended.
  4. Two copies of stamp size photo of the student.
  5. In the case of those who are eligible for fee concession, the income certificate in duplicate in the prescribed form, community and nativity certificates.
  6. In the case of students claiming NCC/NSS/Ex-Servicemen privileges or quota for physically handicapped, attach photocopies of Certificates from the competent authorities. Students seeking admission should get attested the copies of their SSLC book or mark lists or other certificates before they submit their originals in the College at the time of admission. It will be difficult to get copies of the same after admission. The original certificates will be returned from the College only after the course is completed and all dues to the college are cleared.
