NCC Army Wing ,KAHM UNITY WOMEM’S COLLEGE, MANJERI 9 (K) Girls Battalion, NCC, Kozhikode .The NCC Army Wing observed ‘ International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking’ on June 26, 2023, by playing a flash mob based on the theme ‘People first: stop stigma and discrimination, strengthen prevention’. The main aim of this day was to strengthen action and cooperation in achieving a world free of drug abuse. The programme was inaugurated by College Principal Prof. (Dr.) Muhammed Basheer Ummathur. Lt. Loosiya KP, NCC Officer, welcomed the gathered. After the flash mob, cadets displayed posters, and all cadets took the pledge to “Say Yes to Life and No to Drugs” given by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. Cadets got an e-certificate for the pledge. UO Ayisha Risni. K, 5th Sem BSc Psychology, delivered the vote of thanks. UO Shana Buhaisa. P (5th Sem BSc CS) and Lt. Loosiya KP were the student and faculty coordinators, respectively.
