The NCC Army Wing of KAHM Unity Women’s College, Manjeri, celebrated the 77th Independence Day. ANO, Lt. Loosiya KP, delivered the welcome speech. Principal Prof. (Dr.) Basheer Ummathur hoisted the flag. He spoke about how our country got independence from British rule. Dr. Abdul Salam, Retd. Head and Associate Professor, Dept. of Botany and Estate, gave felicitations at the function. All the cadets and staff took a pledge on ‘Mere Maati Mera Desh’. The rank ceremony was also conducted in between, and the rank promotion was awarded to UO Shana Buhaisa P (5th Sem BSc CS) and SGT Ajna KP (5th Sem BCom Coop). UO Shana Buhaisa. P (5th Sem BSc CS) delivered the vote of thanks. The program ended with the NCC song and the National anthem.
