On 15th June 2023, Department of Chemistry KAHM Unity Women’s College Manjeri conducted a session ‘Al Kimiya 2K23-2K24’ as an introductory programme for the activities of the department in this academic year. Dr. Jyothi P, the Head of the Department welcomed the gathering. She gave an idea about the types of programmes to be conducted by the department. Dr. Jamsheena, coordinator explained the concept of an association to the students. Association provides a platform for collaboration, networking, and working towards a common purpose. The association aims to empower and support students in their academic, personal, and professional development. It provides a safe space for students to express themselves, acquire new skills, and build a strong network of peers and mentors. The future plans of the ‘Al Kimiya’ Association were discussed during the session. The association intends to organize workshops and training programs on various topics such as leadership development, career guidance, entrepreneurship, self-defense, and mental health. Ms Ajeesha was selected as the student coordinator.
