On October 13, 2023, the Department of Chemistry, KAHM Unity Women’s College organized an Alumni Talk. Dr. Jyothi P, Head of the Department , gave a formal welcome message. Prof(Dr.) Muhammed Basheer Ummathur, the honourable Principal, inaugurated the program. Dr. Sabira’s accomplishments in different national and state-level competitive tests were recognized as inspiring milestone. Dr. Sabira provided a wonderfully inspirational and interesting speech, discussing her personal path and emphasizing the importance of one’s mindset and objectives as a chemistry student and in the larger arena of science. Dr. Sabira also cheerfully answered students’ questions, offering insights into the numerous job prospects accessible outside of academia. Ms. Omniya Ummer and Ms. Muhsina, expressed gratitude to the speaker for the excellent insights she gave. Faculty members from the department also were present in the program.
