The Arts club of K.A.H.M. Unity Women’s College conducted BAKRID FEST 2022 on July 8 in C.H. Auditorium. The festival was presided over by Dr. Muhammad Basheer Ummathur, the college’s principal. He reflected on the significance of the cultural festival in the curriculum and how it fosters social cohesion, leadership qualities, and team spirit among the student community. Mr. O Abdul Ali, the Manager, inaugurated the function and delivered the Bakrid message. The fest was coordinated by Mr. Sidhique P and Dr. Thasni, Directors of the Arts Club. Three different contests (Oppana, Mappilappattu, Mehndi, Quiz) were conducted at the department level to ensure maximum involvement from each student and to inculcate in them a spirit of competition. The programme became more engaging with the participation of several faculty members.
