COURSE DESCRIPTION

Course Introduction:

Computers have become an integral part of our daily life. The Management Information Systems course will help the students to understand the benefits of computers to organisations and, more importantly, how to deploy and manage them to support an organisation’s goals and strategies.

This course provides an introduction to information systems and management. It is designed to familiarize students with organizational and managerial foundation of systems, the technical foundation for understanding the role of information system in enhancing the process of business enterprises and the process of building and managing the information system in organizations.

The course will focus on the topics as Management Information Systems, Decision Support System and Expert Systems. This course will provide students with information system knowledge that is essential for creating successful organization and management.
