Sherin P, an alumna of the Department of Psychology (2019-2022 batch), currently pursuing her MSc in Applied Psychology at Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, delivered a thought-provoking lecture on mental health awareness for the current students of the department on 13th October 2023 at the AC Seminar Hall. Her insightful presentation delved into the importance of understanding and destigmatizing mental health issues. Sherin P, shared her personal journey, highlighting the challenges she had faced and how her psychology education had equipped her to cope. Sherin P also emphasized the importance of breaking the stigma surrounding mental health and highlighted various strategies to promote well-being and provide support to those in need.
