The Department of Zoology and Women Cell collaborates with Viva Kerala, Department of Health Services for the district level inauguration of the programme titled, ” “Vilarchayil Ninnu Valrchayilekku” on 2nd March 2023. Ms. M. K. Rafeekha, President, Malappuram District Panchayath inaugurated the programme and Dr. R. Renuka, District Medical Officer delivered the keynote address.Dr.TN Anoop, District Programme Officer detailed the purpose of the Viva initiative as spreading awareness among the women to save them from the deficiency of iron. Ms. V. M. Subaida, the Chairperson, Manjeri presided over the event.Dr. Sheena Lal, Ms. Saleena teacher and Prof. Dr.Muhammed Basheer Ummathur ( principal) felicitated the gathering. Dr. Fousi, Head of the Department of Zoology and Ms. Aswathi M. P, Coordinator of Women Cell were the programme convenors.
