Rain Water Pits

The college has to its credit two rain water pits with a capacity of 816000 litres and 115000 litres respectively. This technology is used to collect water from relatively clean roof surfaces, convey and store rain water for later use. Its use include water for nondrinking purposes.

DRINKING WATER

College is functioning very successfully providing drinking water facility round the year with its own storage facility. Pure drinking water is being pumped one km off from the campus with the help of a 15 hp electric motor capable of working for more than 10 hours continuously. Likewise in the campus there are two wells supplying water to canteen and hostel separately. It’s worth mentioning the rain harvesting scheme having a capacity of 8,66,000 ltrs and 1,15,000 ltrs respectively.
