P.G. Department of Botany conducted a field trip for B.Sc. Botany students as part of experiential learning on 30th September 2022. The fifth semester BSc. Botany students visited Calicut University Botanical Garden and explored the biodiversity. CUBG is one of the best botanical garden in Kerala which maintains a good collection of xerophytes, pteridophytes, hydrophytes, gingers, medicinal plants etc. The trip promotes the experiential learning process, a major strategy of effective learning.
