A field trip was conducted to Agricultural Research Station, Anakkayam for M.Sc. Botany students on 26th September 2022. The students got exposed to the ongoing research in plant breeding and tissue culture and explored various horticultural techniques in crop plants at ARS Anakkayam. The students visited the Tissue culture lab, vermi compost pit and Weather reporting station. Mrs. Sruthi, Farm officer of the station described the facilities and service of the Anakkayam research station.
