FYUGP ORIENTATION FOR BA ENGLISH HONOURS
On July 10, 2024, a welcome and orientation session on FYUGP for first-year BA English Honours students was held under the aegis of the Four Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUGP) committee at the college. The event, coordinated by Ms. Sangeeta K, the FYUGP Coordinator of the department, included several sessions to help students acclimate to their new academic environment.
Ms. Sangeeta K opened the event by welcoming the audience. The Head of the Department, Dr. Shahina Mol A. K, presided over the session, offering insights into the importance of the FYUGP. Following this, the class tutor, Dr. Krishna Sunder, delivered an engaging address to the students.
Mr. Muhammedali P introduced the college procedures, ensuring that the new students understood the operational aspects of their academic journey. The session also included self-introductions from the students and a feedback segment to gather their initial impressions and suggestions.
The event concluded at 3:30 pm with a vote of thanks by Ms. Fathima Mehrin P. T, marking the end of a successful and informative orientation day.
