The PG department of Home Science started a certificate course on “Culinary arts” to the students of other departments. Mrs. A S Anitha Begum, Associate Professor and Head of the Home Science department is the course instructor and Mrs. Shahla K, Assistant Professor (Ad- hoc) is the course coordinator. This course is beneficial to candidates who want to make a career in the field of kitchen management, food and beverage management as well as other hospitality and food related jobs.
