‘Hindi Pakhwada Samaroh 2022’ (Hindi Fortnight Celebration) was celebrated by Department of Hindi, from September 14 to 27, 2022. The inauguration of the programme was conducted on September 14 2022. The programme was started with a prayer song by Fathimath Minha, Asna and Shaiba of third semester. Fathimath Jesni welcomed the guests and students. It was inaugurated by our beloved Principal Dr. Muhammed Basheer Ummathur. Presidential address was delivered by Dr. Shilna V, Assistant Professor of Hindi. Principal Dr. Muhammed Basheer Ummathur addressed students about the importance of learning Hindi and motivated the students to participate in upcoming programmes. The Vote of Thanks was delivered by Minha.
During the fortnight, Hindi Poster Making, Essay writing, Translation, Versification, Recitation, Group song, Story writing, Speech competitions were organized. The Fortnight closing and prize distribution ceremony was held on 27-09-2022. Dr. Shilna V. Assistant Professor Department of Hindi welcomed the Students and Chief Guests. Principal Dr. Muhammed Basheer Ummathur deliverd the Presidential Address. Dr. Sreeja P V , HOD & Assistant Professor, Department of Hindi, MES Mampad College(Autonomous) was the Chief Guest. She addressed the students about the importance and the history behind Hindi day celebration. Prizes were distributed by Respected Principal & Chief Guest for the winners of various competitions. Murshida of I semester Chemistry, hosted the function. The Function was concluded by the Vote of Thanks by Fathima Thasni of I semester History.
