The Department of Mathematics, in collaboration with the Kerala State Council of Higher Education and I.Q.A.C, organized an International Seminar entitled, “Recent Advances in Industrial Mathematics and Applications” on 26 and 27 of August, 2022. The two-day programme was inaugurated by Dr. Safeer Pandikkadavath, Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering, NIT Calicut who spoke on the relevance of Applied Mathematics. Principal, Dr. Muhammed Basheer Ummathur presided over the inaugural function. Besides the college management Committee members and the faculty members, students from various colleges also participated in the seminar. In the sessions that ensued, Mr. Mohammad Raees (Tally Solutions Bangalore), Dr. Jicy (Christ College Bangalore), Ms. Aysha Bint Seyd (Analyst, London), Mr. Murali Mohan ( Development Officer, LIC), Mr. Rasin R.S (Data Analyst), Dr. Arun R (CEO Optind Solutions Pvt. Ltd) and Dr. Bajeel P.N., spoke on various topics related to the theme of the seminar.
