PG and Research department of English in collaboration with Malayalam department conducted An interdisciplinary talk by Dr. Hikmathullah V, Assistant Professor on the title “Kuttipuram Bridge versus Kuttipuram Palam : Nitty-Gritty of Translations” which explored the nuances in translating Edasseri’s work. It highlighted how cultural context, linguistic subtleties, and idiomatic expressions impact the translation process, revealing the challenges and intricacies in maintaining the original essence and poetic beauty. The program was coordinated by Reena C M on 28/06/2024 for the students of 2nd sem B.Sc Maths and 2nd sem B.Sc Chemistry.
