The library orientation program conducted to give awareness to all the first-year students on how to use the library and to understatnd how to make the library useful in the best way. It also provided a lecture class on what rules are to follow when coming to the library, what are the different sections of the library and what are its use. The most important part of the program was the practical session. We provided a demonstration on how to search for books in the user interface OPAC and also how to search E – resources from the N-list consortium. The whole session was leaded by the librarian Ms. Harsha K.P. Orientation was given on scheduled days for each department.
