Paper bag making
The paper bag making program, organized by the Innovation and Incubation Centre of the Chemistry Department in collaboration with the Chemistry Club, took place on January 19, 2024, in Room G203. The event attracted a significant number of participants, including students, faculty members, and staff members of the Chemistry Department. The primary objective of the paper bag making program was to promote environmental sustainability and foster creativity among the students of the Chemistry Department. By organizing this event, the organizers aimed to raise awareness about the detrimental effects of single-use plastic bags and encourage the adoption of eco-friendly alternatives. Experienced members of the Chemistry Club conducted a demonstration session on the art of paper bag making. Participants were guided through the process step-by-step, from selecting the appropriate type of paper to folding and assembling the bags. Following the demonstration, participants were provided with materials such as recycled paper, scissors, glue, and decorative items to create their own paper bags. This hands-on workshop allowed participants to unleash their creativity and design unique paper bags. Dr. Jamsheena, teacher coordinator and Mubeena, student coordinator worked collaboratively to ensure the smooth execution of the paper bag making program
