The solidarity event for Palestine, organized by the NSS at KAHM Unity Women’s College, Manjeri, commenced with a warm welcome from Thasni. Dr. Muhammed Basheer Ummathur, the college principal, presided over the gathering, setting the tone for the event. The program was inaugurated by Manager O Abdul Ali, who highlighted the significance of supporting the Palestinian cause. Dr. A.K. Shahina Mol delivered a compelling keynote address, shedding light on the critical issues faced by Palestine. Dr. Hikmathulla V, the NSS program officer, shared insights and perspectives, emphasizing the importance of solidarity. A thought-provoking street play by Dilna and Team vividly depicted the struggles and aspirations of the Palestinian people.The culmination of the event featured Liyana delivering a gracious vote of thanks. The emotional depth of the occasion was further expressed through recitations of Palestinian poems, with attendees contributing to a collaborative wall painting, symbolizing shared sentiments.An exhibition showcasing books on Palestine provided additional educational insights, reinforcing the commitment to understanding and advocating for the Palestinian cause.
