COMPETITIVE EXAMINATIONS

The career Guidance Cell working under IQAC aims at providing guidance to students for opting a career that suits them. The cell organizes activities under various heads like Career counselling, guidance for competitive examinations like KPSC, UPSC, Civil service etc., soft skill training and the like. A bridge course for bridging the students from school to College life too is undertaken by the cell. Separate sessions for various disciplines in UG, PG programme and sessions for students with special aptitudes are given. Resource persons for the same are chosen from the experts in Career guidance and counselling.

BRIDGE COURSE

A Bridge course is conducted at the beginning of every academic year for the undergraduate freshers. The idea is to introduce them to the higher educational scenario and to let them shift to the newer teaching learning process in wait for them. The course schedule includes ice breaking sessions, motivational sessions, introduction to the clubs and activities in the campus, library and other facilities provided. The course had proved to be very effective in bridging their school life to campus life.

YOGA AND MEDITATION

To ensure the physical and mental fitness of students, yoga practice sessions are provided to the students. The physical education department has taken the initiative for the same. Sessions on yoga are provided at the indoor stadium in the campus. Yoga practice sessions are also given during the NSS camps. World Yoga Day is observed in the campus every year.
