OBC Cell

The OBC (Other Backward Classes) Cell at our college was established in the academic year 2019-20 with the primary goal of empowering students from OBC communities. It was established in accordance with the guidelines of the University Grants Commission. It creates a living and working environment where all students and faculties belonging to the community should feel safe and respected. The college is committed to facilitating financial support for these students through government agencies and other sources. The OBC Cell is dedicated to addressing and resolving various issues faced by OBC students, ensuring they have the resources and support needed to succeed academically and personally.

 

Objectives of the OBC cell

The OBC Cell has been created in the college to address and resolve issues related to the OBC students. The key objectives of the OBC Cell are as follows.

  1. To inform OBC students about various scholarship programs offered by state and central government
  2. To counsel and guide OBC students on various issues, helping them to manage their academic activities effectively
  3. To resolve problems and grievances related to OBC students, ensuring their concerns are addressed promptly and efficiently.
  4. To provide a safe and secure environment for OBC students within the college campus.
  5. To promote an inclusive and supportive campus environment that respects diversity and encourages the participation of OBC students in all college activities
