The Kerala Development and Innovation Strategic Council (K-DISC) ,an esteemed advisory body of Govt. of Kerala on strategic directions on various spheres, conducted an orientation session under Young Innovators Programme (YIP) in association with KAHM Unity Women’s College, Manjeri on 23-06-2023 Friday from10.30 am to 12.30 pm. at the college Auditorium. The Programme ““Innovation Through Young Innovators” was inaugurated by college principal Dr. Muhammed Basheer Ummathur. The resource person Mr. Shamil Shajayath RN, District Intern, YIP explained the various programmes and activities conducted by K-DISC under Young Innovators Programme (YIP) with the aim of empowering future innovators to innovate new products, services and ideas to meet emerging requirements and existing marketing needs of the society. He demonstrated the registration process in the website of YIP for the participants and adding their new ideas to the website. Ms. Fathima Shajitha TK, Associate Professor of Commerce and YIP Co-ordinator delivered the welcome speech and Smt. Nafila CK, student Co-ordinator proposed vote of thanks. 185 students participated in the session
