The Trauma Care Club Inauguration and Volunteer Registration event took place on the 17th of October, 2023, at 10:30 AM in the CH Auditorium of KAHM Unity Women’s College, Manjeri. The event was organized jointly by the Trauma Care Club and the National Service Scheme (NSS).
The event unfolded as follows: Welcome: Dr. Hikmathulla V (Programme Officer, NSS) Presidential Address: Prof. Dr. Muhammed Basheer Ummathur. Introductory Note: VM Musthafa (vice president, PTA) Mr. Philip Mampad, the Assistant Sub Inspector of Police from Perinthalmanna, inaugurated the Trauma Care Club and presented on a relevant topic, emphasizing the importance of trauma care. Several notable individuals were felicitated during the event, including: 1. Engineer O. Abdul Ali (Manager) 2. Abdul Hakeem (Coordinator, Unity Clubs) 3. Yusuf Vallanchira (Representative, NTS Club) 4. Nandana (Student Editor) Fathima Shafiya Kurikkal became the first volunteer to register for the Trauma Care Club, signifying the beginning of active participation. The event concluded with a vote of thanks from Nandana, the Secretary of NSS.
