As part of our PG curriculum, PG Department of Botany conducted a field visit to the Anakkayam Research station on 26 September 2022. The Agricultural Research Station, Anakkayam is one of the premier institutions of Kerala Agricultural University doing research on horticultural crops especially vegetables, fruit plants and plantation crops. The team consists of 24 students reached at the research station by 12:30 PM along with the mentors Ms. Anjana K, Mr. Unaisudheen and Mrs. Shirin. The students visited the Tissue culture lab vermi compost pit and Weather reporting station. Mrs. Sruthi, Farm officer of the station described the facilities and service of the Anakkayam research station.
