Nine students from the 4th semester of the BSc Chemistry enthusiastically participated in the two day offline hands-on workshop on ‘Dock and Design-unveiling drug discovery through molecular docking’ held at Providence Women’s College, Kozhikode, in collaboration with SERAH (Science Education Research and Activity Hub) on the 5th and 6th of April 2024. The workshop provided a comprehensive introduction to Computer-Aided Drug Design (CADD) and included detailed insights into various software tools essential for molecular modeling and drug discovery. Among the five free software introduced during the workshop were PyMOL, Avogadro, Open Babel, Autodock tool, and BioDiscovery Studio. Dr. Jyothi, scientific advisor ,SERAH, served as the resource person, offering valuable knowledge and expertise to the participants
