World Environment Day 2023 celebration, ‘Walk with Green,’ organized by the PG department of Botany at KAHM Unity Women’s College, successfully promoted environmental awareness and sustainability among students.Through the planting of fruit trees in the college orchard and the plastic waste cleaning campaign around the department of Botany on 5th June 2023, UG and PG first-year students actively contributed to creating a greener and cleaner environment. Four fruit trees of Mango and Syzygium were planted in the Orchard garden. The event not only provided practical experiences but also fostered a sense of responsibility towards the nature conservation. Dr. Faseela P and Sana V. coordinated the events.
