Report- General PTA Meeting held on 2nd September 2024
The General PTA Meeting was held on 2nd September 2024, commencing with a warm welcome from Dr. Jyothi P, PTA Secretary. She emphasized the crucial role of the PTA in fostering a collaborative environment between parents, teachers, and students.
The meeting was presided over by Prof. (Dr.) Muhammed Basheer Ummathur, who provided a detailed overview of the college’s overall functioning and highlighted various opportunities available for students.
Dr. Jyothi P then presented the PTA Report for the academic year 2023-24, summarizing key achievements and activities. Mr. Mohammedali P, the PTA Treasurer, followed with the income and expenditure statement, offering transparency on the financials.
The function was further enhanced by felicitations from Staff Club Secretary Mr. Rahib B and IQAC Coordinator Dr. Shahinamol AK, who commended the efforts of the PTA and its members.
Elections for office bearers were conducted, leading to the nomination of new Vice President Mr. Hamza C Mongam,Joint Secretary Mr. Anwar Sadath KV and four executive members. (Mr. Adam Thanari, Mr. kunju Muhammed, Mrs. Vijayalakshmi & Mrs. Deepa K S)The meeting concluded with a fruitful discussion on various academic and non-academic matters, followed by a vote of thanks proposed by Mr. Shabeermon M, PTA Executive Member. The meeting was graced by the presence of all teaching and non teaching staff members.
Following the General PTA Meeting, class-wise PTA meetings for the 3rd and 5th semesters were held. Additionally, a counselling session for the parents of 1st-semester students was organized in collaboration with IQAC, led by Captain Abdul Rasheed P, Assistant Professor and JCI Trainer, EMEA College of Arts and Science Kondoty.
