The Inauguration of the Martial Arts Club took place on March 15, 2023, at 10:30 am in the AC Seminar Hall. The event commenced with a warm welcome extended to Mr.Hamraz Ahamed M, Assistant Professor of Physical Education and Coordinator of the Martial Arts Club. Following the welcome, Prof.(Dr).Muhammed Basheer Ummathur, the Principal, delivered the presidential address, setting the tone for the occasion. The highlight of the event was the presence of esteemed guest Shihan OMA JABBAR, who holds prominent positions such as Budokan Karate National Chief, Malappuram District Pencaksilat Association General Secretary, and Qwan Ki Do State Committee Member. Additionally, he is associated with Kerala Kick Boxing Association and Kerala Wushu Association, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to the inauguration. Aslaha Konoth, Chairperson of the Meridia Students Union 2023-24, graced the occasion with her presence and delivered a felicitation speech, acknowledging the significance of promoting martial arts within the institution. The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Mufeedha K, Student Coordinator of the Martial Arts Club and General Captain ( Meridia Students Union) expressing gratitude to all attendees, guests, and organizers for their contributions towards making the inauguration a success.
