On November 2, 2023, Department of Mathematics conducted a Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) meeting for the fifth-semester BSc students. The PTA meeting proved to be a resounding success, fostering constructive discussions among parents about their children’s academic and career aspirations. Parents also recommended initiating in-person, informal interactions between teachers and students to explore their potential and the opportunities available in the competitive world.
Dr. Bajeel PN, the class tutor, extended a warm welcome to the gathering, and Mr. Abdul Rof, the Head of the Mathematics Department, shared his concerns regarding the academic progress of the students with the parents. Dr. Bajeel PN, in his role as the class tutor, provided parents with a comprehensive update on their children’s overall performance in the class. The distribution of progress reports marked a pivotal moment in the meeting, and the session concluded with parents having the opportunity to meet with other faculty members in the department.
