The Malayalam Department organized an essay competition on “The Importance of Mother Language” on February 21, 2024, as part of Mother Language Day celebrations. Greeshma (2nd semester Botany), Fida (2nd semester BSc CS), and Rinsiya P (2nd semester BSc CS) secured the first, second, and third prizes respectively. Devika N (2nd semester Maths) won the prize in the poster making competition. The program, overseen by Arifa Beegum, Assistant Professor of Malayalam, concluded with an emphasis on the significance of mother language.
